  • 8 Potatoes
  • 1 lb raw ground meat (half beef, half pork)
  • 2 shallots
  • 3 garlic
  • parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 slices of bread
  • milk
  • pepper, salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cut the potato not quite in half lengthwise. You want to have a "lid" with the tip half of skin. Scoop out the flesh keeping the skin in tact. Soak bread crumbs in warm milk, mix the ground meat with the bread crumbs, shallots, garlic, parsley, an egg. Add salt and pepper. Fill the potatoes generously with this mixture and put the lid on each.

Step 2

Top the potatoes with the 'lids" that you removed, Cook in a water bath.

Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees or you can preheat your oven, in this case, reduce the cooking time.

Step 3

Serve hot with a green salad
