Ingredients

  • Dough:
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup orange blossom water
  • water
  • Filling:
  • 2 cups ground almonds
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • orange blossom water
  • For the top:
  • 1/2 cup orange blossom water
  • confectioner's sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix flour and vanilla extract, then add the melted butter. Next, add the orange blossom water plus the regular water, then combine until it forms a smooth paste.
Let rest about 30 minutes.

Step 2

Combine all the filling ingredients together and form a pudding with stuffing. Roll out the dough on lightly floured surface to 1/8 inch thick. Cut out triangles of 4 inch base and 5.5 inch sides.

Step 3

Put the almond pudding on the dough and roll it like a croissant. Bake for 20 minutes or more, let cool and dip the cookies one by one on the orange blossom water, then roll it in the confectioner's sugar.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 cup / 50g of softened butter
  • 1 egg (divide the yolk and white)
  • 1/4 cup / 50g of sugar
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 cup / 150g of flour
  • 1 cup / 100g of chopped nuts
  • Salted caramel
  • Melted dark chocolate

METHOD:

  1. In a bowl, mix together the butter, egg yolk, sugar, and salt.

  2. Add the flour and mix. Roll into a ball.

  3. Chill for 30 minutes.

  4. Remove from refrigerator. Divide the dough and roll into 1-inch balls.

  5. Dip each ball in egg yolk, and then roll in chopped nuts.

  6. Place on baking sheet (lined with parchment paper), and press your thumb into the center.

  7. Bake at 340°F/170°C for 12 minutes, or until golden.

  8. Remove from oven and let cool.

  9. Pour the salted caramel into the center groove,and drizzle with dark chocolate.
