Do Buy Frozen Veggies

Buying your veggies pre-cut, pre-blanched and frozen can be a great option for saving time and energy. There is nothing wrong with frozen vegetables, and they will be just as nutritious as fresh veggies, with the added bonus of a longer shelf life. However, when picking your frozen veggies make sure to pick a bag that's full of just vegetables and no added sauces, pasta or rice. This way you're ensuring that you get all the nutrition of your vegetables without excess sugar, sodium or fat.
