Prep

Place the corn starch and powdered sugar in a fine-mesh strainer and sift part of the mix onto a baking sheet covered with wax paper. Continue with the rest, but this time sift it over a large plate.

Brush several metal molds (whatever shape of marshmallow you're planning on making) with oil, and place them on the powdered baking sheet.
