Chocolate Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • ¾ light corn syrup (Karo)
  • ¼ t. salt
  • 2T bourbon (or 1T)
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • ½ - ¾ c. chopped pecans
  • ½ - ¾ c. chocolate chips
  • 9” deep dish pie shell

Preparation

Step 1

Cream sugar and butter.

Step 2

Add eggs, syrup, salt, bourbon, and vanilla.

Step 3

Mix until blended.

Step 4

Spread pecans and choc chips in bottom of 9” pie shell.

Step 5

Bake 40-50 min at 375°. Cover with foil during baking.
