Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup melted butter
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- ¾ light corn syrup (Karo)
- ¼ t. salt
- 2T bourbon (or 1T)
- 1 t. vanilla
- ½ - ¾ c. chopped pecans
- ½ - ¾ c. chocolate chips
- 9” deep dish pie shell

Step 1
Cream sugar and butter.
Step 2
Add eggs, syrup, salt, bourbon, and vanilla.
Step 3
Mix until blended.
Step 4
Spread pecans and choc chips in bottom of 9” pie shell.
Step 5
Bake 40-50 min at 375°. Cover with foil during baking.
