Homemade Chicago Pizza Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 (32 ounce) can tomato puree
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- salt (To taste)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Stir all well. I use a whisk. Let sit for a couple of hours or heat over the stove on medium heat for till thickened to taste and well heated through.
You can use this for spaghetti sauce too with some meatballs and sausage. I put the raw meat in and gently simmer it for an hour or so.
