Ingredients

  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 can (16 oz) jellied cranberry sauce
  • 2 cups sugar, divided
  • 3 packages (3 oz each) raspberry gelatin
  • Additional sugar, optional
  • Cooking spray

Preparation

Step 1

In a saucepan, sprinkle unflavored gelatin over water; let stand for 2 minutes to soften. Add cranberry sauce and 1 cup sugar; cook over low heat until sauce is melted and sugar is dissolved, about 10 minutes. Whisk until smooth.

Step 2

Remove from the heat and add raspberry gelatin; stir until completely dissolved, about 3 minutes. Pour into an 8 inch square dish coated with cooking spray. Cover and let stand at room temperature for 12 hours or overnight (do not refrigerate).

Step 3

Cut into 1 inch squares. Roll in additional sugar if desired. Place on baking sheets. Let stand 3 hours. Roll pieces over and let stand an additional 3 hours. Roll in more sugar midway if desired.
