Ingredients
- 1 loaf Rhodes bread dough
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/2 envelope Hidden Valley Ranch dry mix
- 3/4 lb thinly sliced ham
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 tsp poppy seeds
Preparation
Step 1
Roll bread dough out into a rectangular shape until it is 1/2 inch thick. Combine margarine and ranch mix. Spread about 5 tbsp of the mixture down the center of the rectangle. Layer ham down the rectangle and then cheese.
Step 2
Use a pizza cutter to cut strips along each side of the dough. Starting at the bottom, take each piece, cross and twist.Continue criss-crossing until your ham and cheese is braided. Brush remaining butter/ranch mix over top. Sprinkle with poppy seends. Wrap load with plastic wrap and foil to freeze.
Step 3
To Prepare: Thaw overnight in the fridge. A couple hours before baking place loaf on counter to let rise and thaw. Remove plastic and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
