Aunt Jen`s Best Crackers

Ingredients
- 2 C. flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 TB sugar
- 1/2 tsp + another 1/2 tsp salt for topping
- 6 TB cold unsalted butter
- 3 TB unsalted butter, melted
- 2 TB vegetable oil
- 2/3 C. water
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Step 2
In a bowl combine flour,baking powder, sugar and a 1/2 tsp of salt. Add 6 TB cold butter and the vegetable oil and use pastry blender to blend. Add water a little ata time until a rollable dough. Roll dough out as thin as you can about 1/8". Use a small rounng cutter or glass (or whatever to shape your crackers) and cut out place on parchment paper or greased cookie sheet. Poke holes in crackers 5-8 of them. Bake crackers for 10 minutes or until just browned.
Step 3
While the crackers are baking, melt the remaining butter and mix with remaining salt. As soon as you remove crackers from the over brush them with the salty butter.
