Apple filled pancakes

Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tart cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced ¼ inch thick
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • Pancakes

Preparation

Step 1

Filling:
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Step 2

Drop in the apple slices and sprinkle them with the sugar and cinnamon.

Step 3

Cook, stirring gently from time to time, until the apples soften slightly. Don’t overcook.

Step 4

Set the apples aside, off the heat.

Step 5

Cook pancakes normally. Add topping to pancakes.
