Ingredients

  • 5 cups of white sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • i can of evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 cups chocolate chips
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

in a large pot over medium heat bring butter, sugar and evaporated milk to a boil, continue to boil for 5 minutes, stir constantly. remove from heat
then stir in chocolate chips and mini marshmallows. stir until smooth and melted.
pour into a 9x13 pan that has been buttered. let set then cut into squares.

you can also use flavored chocolate chips such as mint or orange.
you can also substitute 4 cups of peanut butter for the chips.
this recipe can also be halved for a smaller batch
