Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 egg well beaten
  • 3 tbsp melted butter/margarine
  • 2/3 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

Sift dry ingredients together :add egg,milk,btter and enough milk to make moist stiff batter.

Step 2

Drop by Teaspoon into boiling liquid.

Step 3

Cover very closely and cook at medium heat to maintain a slow boil for 18 minutes.

Do not remove lid for the 18 minutes .
