Ingredients

  • 6 leeks finely chopped
  • 8 cup chicken broth
  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 salt
  • 1/2 pepper

Preparation

Step 1

in a large saucepan combine leeks, chicken broth, potatoes and garlic. bring to boil on medium heat.

Step 2

reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes, or until vegetables are tender. let cool until room temperature and blend.

Step 3

heat over low heat and stir in milk, salt and pepper.
