Ingredients

  • 1)1 individual store-bought pizza crust
  • 2)1 plum tomato, seeded and roughly chopped
  • 3)1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 4)2 tbsp (30mL) fresh basil, roughly chopped
  • 5)Salt & Pepper
  • 6)1/4 cup (60mL) Canadian Provolone, grated
  • 7)1 1/2 oz (45g) fresh Canadian Mozzarella, sliced
  • 8)2 tbsp (30mL) shaves of Canadian Parmesan

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425°F /220°C.

Step 2

Place pizza crust on a parchment-covered baking sheet.

Step 3

Top with ingredients, ending with the Parmesan.

Step 4

Bake 15 minutes or until the crust and cheese are golden brown.

Pizza Crust: for 4 pizzas, each one about 12 inches in diameter

2)7 cups (1kg) all-purpose flour
3)2.25 teaspoons (25g) yeast
4)6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
5)1.5 tablespoons salt
6)2 teaspoons sugar
