Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • .5 cups milk
  • .25 cup boiling water
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Caramalize 1/2 cup sugar in butter, add boiling water. Stir to dissolve. Add milk, salt, vanilla and remainder of sugar. Bring to soft boil. Let cool before frosting cake.
