Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 3 T butter, softened
- 3 T unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 T honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Prefer oven to 350 degrees F and grease and flour an 8 inch square pan.
Step 2
In a large saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter.
Step 3
Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs, and 1 tsp vanilla.
Step 4
Beat in 1/3 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup flour, salt, and baking powder. Spread batter into prepared pan.
Step 5
Bake in preheated oven for 25-30.
Step 6
To make frosting: Combine 3 T butter, 3 T cocoa, 1 T honey, 1 tsp vanilla and 1 cup confectioners sugar.
Step 7
Frost brownies while still warm.
