Ingredients
- Base:
- 1/2 C butter, softened
- 1/3 C sugar
- 1 C flour
- Filling:
- 1 pkg cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 C sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Topping:
- 3 C apples, thinly sliced
- 1/3 C sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 C sliced almonds
Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and sugar, blend in flour. Press into torte pan.
Step 2
Beat all filling ingredients together with electric mixer. Pour onto base.
Step 3
Toss apples, sugar and cinnamon to coat well. Arrange over filling. Sprinkle with almonds.
Step 4
Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes then reduce to 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
