Ingredients
- Fritters
- 1 Cup Flour
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 3/4 Tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Tsp Cinnamon
- 1/3 Cup Milk
- 1 Egg
- 1 Cup Apple - chopped
- Glaze
- 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Milk
Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and cinnamon.
Step 2
Stir in milk and egg until just combined. Fold in apples.
Step 3
Pour oil into a large skillet to about 1 1/2" deep. Heat on HIGH.
Step 4
Carefully add dough by spoonful. Cook until brown, about 2 minutes, then flip over. Cook until browned. Transfer to paper towel to absorb excess oil then move to cooling rack.
Step 5
In a small bowl combine powdered sugar and milk. Mix well. Drizzle over cooled fritters. Flip fritters to glaze both sides.
