Ingredients
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 pack dry yeast
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp. shortening
Preparation
Step 1
In mixing bowl dissolve yeast and water. Stir in sugar, half of the flour and salt. beat with a spoon until smooth. Add egg and shortening. Scrape down sides of bowl and cover. Let rise until double. Fill muffin pans 3/4 full. Rise. Bake at 400 for 15 to 20 minutes.
