Ingredients
- 1 lb pork sausage
- 1 chopped green pepper
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 (1 lb. can) mushroom stems and pieces
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups instant rice
- 1 (4 oz. can) diced green chili peppers (optional)
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Brown sausage, with onion, green pepper, and celery in skillet. Add mushrooms, rice and chicken broth. Simmer until rice is tender.
This makes a meal served with cornbread
