Chocolate Peanut Butter Bananas

Ingredients

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate morsels (6 ounces)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk (skim or whole)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (chunky or smooth)
  • 8 bananas, sliced into halves

Preparation

Step 1

In a saucepan, combine the chocolate morsels, sugar and milk; cook over low heat, stirring constantly until the chocolate is melted. Add the peanut butter and mix well.

Step 2

Transfer the chocolate mixture to a 1-quart bowl that's been warmed. The chocolate will stay warm enough for dipping for about 20 minutes. If chocolate starts to solidify, reheat it in the microwave on half power, stirring after each 30-second increment until it is creamy again.

Step 3

Serve bananas on a plate, alongside chocolate.
