Ingredients
- 2 cans chicken and rice soup
- 1 can chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped okra
- 2 lb medium peeled shrimp
- 4 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp worcertershire sauce
- 1 1/2 qt water
- 2 tbsp file
Preparation
Step 1
Brown flour in oil; add onion and celery, and sauté lightly. Add soup, water, okra, and shrimp. Then add worsestershire sauce and simmer for 1 hour. Turn off heat and add file.
