Ingredients
- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 3 sticks of butter
- 3 cups of flour
- 1 3/4 cups of sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
- 2 tsp vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
First make crumbs: Melt butter, let cool.
Step 2
Mix together flour, sugar, and cinnamon.
Step 3
Add melted butter and vanilla. Mix well.
Step 4
Refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Step 5
Make the cake as directed by box and cook in a 9x13 pan.
Step 6
Bake for 30 minutes, until the cake is almost done.
Step 7
Remove cake from oven and leave the oven on. Break up the crumbs and spread over top of the cake.
Step 8
Return cake to oven and continue baking for about 10 minutes. To see if cake is done, insert a toothpick. If it comes out clean, the cake is done.
Step 9
Let the cake cool completely then cover with powder sugar.
