Chocolate-Banana Pudding Pie

Ingredients

  • 1-1/4 cups chocolate wafer cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup non-hydrogenated margarine , melted
  • 1 pkg. (4-serving size) Jell-O Chocolate Instant Pudding
  • 2 cups cold milk , divided
  • 1 env. (42.5 g) Dream Whip Dessert Topping Mix
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 bananas

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cookie crumbs and margarine in 9-inch pie plate until blended; press onto bottom and up side of pie plate.


Beat pudding mix and 1-1/2 cups milk in medium bowl with whisk 2 min.; set aside. Beat Dream Whip, vanilla and remaining milk in medium bowl with mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. Add to pudding; stir gently until blended.


Slice bananas. Reserve a few banana slices for garnish; spread remaining onto bottom of crust. Cover with pudding mixture. Refrigerate 30 min. or until firm. Serve topped with reserved banana slices.

SUBSTITUTE
Prepare using Jell-O Vanilla Instant Pudding.

HOW TO HELP PREVENT RESERVED BANANA SLICES FROM TURNING BROWN
Toss reserved banana slices with lemon juice, then wrap tightly and refrigerate until ready to use as the garnish.
