Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups thinly sliced, pared and cored cooking apples or 2 cans
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/2 cup fine graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup soft butter
- light cream or Ice cream
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 10x6x2 inch baking dish. Arrange apples in dish: sprinkle with lemon juice.
Step 2
Mix sugar with next 4 ingredients until crumbly; spread over apples. Bakes 25 to 30 minutes. Serve with cream.
