Ingredients
- Crust
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- Filling
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 3 tablespoon margarine or butter, melted
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups chopped pecans
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease jelly roll pan ( 15 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 1". Beat flour, sugar, margarine, and salt in a large bowl at medium speed until forms coarse crumbly mixture. Press firmly in pan.
Step 2
Mix all filling ingredients except pecans until well blended. Stir in pecans.
Step 3
Pour over crust layer, spread evenly. Bake until filling is set, about 30 minutes; cool. Cut into 1 1/2 inch squares.
