Ingredients
- 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil 1 pound fresh green beans trimmed 1/2 c water 2 cloves minced garlic 1 1/2 c cherry tomatoes cut in half 1 tbls balsamic vinegar salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
heat 1 teaspoon oil in large skillet over medium high heat. add green beans and cook until they begin to sear.
Step 2
add water and cover. reduce heat to medium and cook 6 - 7 minutes stirring occasionally.
Step 3
remove cover and push green beans to side of pan. add 1 tsp oil and garlic stir about 30 seconds. add tomatoes and stir everything together for about 3 - 4 minutes.
Step 4
remove from heat and add vinegar salt and pepper
