Ingredients

  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 - 14 1/2 oz. can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 - 12 oz. package semi sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1 - 7 oz. jar marshmallow crème
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup nuts

Preparation

Step 1

butter sides of heavy 3 quart saucepan. Add 4 cups sugar. One 14 1/2 ounce can evaporated milk, 1 cup butter. Cook over medium heat till soft ball stage (236 degrees) stirring often. Remove from heat. Stir in one 12 ounce package semi sweet chocolate pieces till almost melted. Stir in one 7 ounce jar marshmallow crème, 1 tsp. vanilla and one cup nuts. Beat till chocolate melts pour into buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Cut when firm.
