Ingredients
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 packages of active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cup warm water
- 5-6 cups flour
Preparation
Step 1
dissolve yeast sugar and warm water together in a bowl.
Step 2
place milk sugar salt and butter in sauce pan, heat over low heat until butter melts and sugar dissolves, let cool to lukewarm.
Step 3
place all ingredients together in mixer and mix until dough clings to hook.
Step 4
cover let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
Step 5
punch dough down and divide in half, shap into loaf and place in greased loaf pan cover let rise in warm place for another hour or until double.
Step 6
bake at 400 for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. remove form pans right away and let cool on wire rack.
