Jalapeno Jelly

Ingredients

  • 12 oz jalapeno peppers
  • 2 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 6 cups sugar
  • 6 oz liquid pectin
  • green or red food coloring

Preparation

Step 1

Puree peppers with 1 cup apple cider vinegar until smooth. Do not strain. Combine with remaining vinegar and sugar. Boil 10 minutes stirring constantly.

Step 2

Add liquid pectin. Return to boil. Hard boil for 1 minute while stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

Step 3

Ladle into hot jars and process 10 minutes.
