Ingredients

  • 9 cups of chex mix cereal
  • 1 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup of butter or margarine

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl measure out the cereal and set aside. In another bowl melt chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter in the microwave for 60 seconds. Stir and if needed microwave again for 30 seconds. The mixture should be smooth when stirred.

Step 2

Pour mixture over the cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Once all the cereal is coated, pour into a 2 gallon zip lock bag. Add the powdered sugar, close the zip loc bag and shake until everything is coated with powdered sugar.

Step 3

You can keep your puppy chow in the bag or in a air tight container.
