Pretzel Roll Croissants

Ingredients

  • 10 cups water
  • ¼ cup baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 can Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 4 tsp sesame seed
  • ½ tsp kosher salt

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 425.

Step 2

Heat the 10 cups of water and baking soda over medium heat.

Step 3

Beat egg and 1 tbsp water.

Step 4

Shape each triangle of croissants into little balls.

Step 5

Cook, in the boiling soda water, 15-25 seconds each.

Step 6

Brush tops with egg mixture and then top with salt and sesame seeds.

Step 7

Bake 11-13 minutes, or until golden brown.
