Ingredients
- 1/2 cup + 1tbsp white sugar
- 1 stick + 1 tbsp butter room temperature
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups flour sifted
- A pinch of salt
Preparation
Step 1
Cream the sugar and butter (make sure it's room temperature). Add the eggs one at a time and mix well, then add the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl sift the flower and add the baking powder, a pinch of salt, then mix them well. Add the flower a little at a time, until a firm dough is formed. Wrap the dough in cling film and put it in the fridge for at least one hour.
Step 2
Preheat your oven to 350. Place the dough in the cookie press and make the shape you like in a baking tray with NO parchment paper and also non greased.
Bake for about 12 minutes. The cookies should have golden edges, but should still be white on top. Enjoy!
