Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened coca
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 375.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, butter, egg yolk and almond extract. Beat at medium speed until mixture is light and fluffy, 2-3 minutes.
Step 3
Continue beating, gradually adding flour and cocoa, until well mixed 2-3 minutes.
Step 4
Shape rounded teaspoons of dough into 1" balls. Place 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Shape as desired (use a fork and press down). Bake 7-9 minutes or until set.
