Broccoli Power Punch Smoothies

Mango and pineapple add a tropical flavor to these refreshing smoothies. Great for breakfast or an any-time snack!

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (12 oz) Green Giant® Valley Fresh Steamers® frozen broccoli cuts
  • 1 cup frozen unsweetened mango chunks
  • 1/2 cup Cascadian Farm® frozen organic strawberries
  • 1 medium banana, cut up
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice

Preparation

Step 1

Cook broccoli as directed on bag. Rinse with cold water until cooled. Drain.

2. In blender, place 1/3 cup of the cooked broccoli and remaining ingredients. (Cover and refrigerate remaining broccoli for another use.) Cover; blend on high speed about 30 seconds or until smooth.

3. Pour into 2 glasses. Serve immediately.

Makes 2 servings (1 cup each)

Keep frozen mango on hand for smoothies. Besides adding flavor and thickness to your smoothies, it saves you time, since the mango is already peeled and cut into cubes.
