Ingredients

  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup plus 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

In a small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup olive oil, lemon pepper, dill, fennel seeds, and salt. Put in a resealable bag along with the salmon, shaking the bag to coat the salmon. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil over medium to high heat. Add the salmon, skin side down, and cook for 5-7 minutes for medium-rare.
