Ingredients
- 2 lbs. chicken thigh fillets, skin-on
- 1 Tbsp crushed garlic
- 1/2 Tbsp finely grated ginger
- 3 Tbsp sake
- 2 Tbsp shoyu
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup cornflour
- 1/3 cup flour
- generous sprinkle of pepper and a little salt
- Oil for deep frying
Preparation
Step 1
Slice chicken into bite sized pieces.
Step 2
Marinate the chicken with garlic, ginger, sake, soy sauce and sesame oil for at least 30 minutes.
Step 3
Add egg, cornstarch and flour.
Step 4
Deep fry until golden brown.
