Ingredients
- 2 large eggs, divided
- 4 egg white, divided
- 3 cups milk
- 1 cup sugar, divided
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 loaf French bread, cubed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 8 ounces Philadelphia cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together 1 egg and 3 egg whites. Add milk, ½ cup sugar, and vanilla; mix well.
Arrange bread cubes in an even layer in baking dish, and pour milk mixture over bread. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Let stand for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine cream cheese and remaining ½ cup sugar, and beat at medium speed with a mixer until smooth.
Add remaining egg and egg white, and beat until smooth. Spread mixture over soaked bread.
Bake for 45 minutes or until firm. Let cool slightly and dusting powdered sugar on top before serving
