Ingredients
- 4 parsnips, peeled/washed and cut into fries
- 2 tbs light olive oil
- 2 tbs real maple syrup
- Kosher salt for sprinkling (I used about 1/2 tsp, others may like more or less)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 420 F.
In a large bowl toss cut parsnips with olive oil, maple and salt. Once evenly coated, spread evenly on a lined baking sheet.
Do not over crowd the fries, otherwise they will not brown and crisp evenly. If you need to use more than one baking sheet, please do so.
Bake for 15 minutes or until they are starting to crisp on the outside, but are tender on the inside.
