  • 1/2 cup Oats
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar of choice (brown or white)
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 2 tsp honey (was 1 1/2tsp)
  • fresh fruit (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

In a saucepan, combine the oats, water, sugar, honey and cinnamon (and friut if desired). Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, and simmer until the liquid has been absorbed, stirring frequently. Pour into bowls, and (top each with a splash of cold milk; optional). Enjoy.
