Raspberry Cobbler

Ingredients
- 2 cups raspberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 water
- 2 T butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup whole milk

Preparation
Step 1
Rinse berries, set aside.
Step 2
In saucepan, stir water, sugar and bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Stir in berries and let boil for 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
Step 3
Beat butter and sugar together then add egg.
Step 4
In separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt.
Step 5
Stir flour mixture into butter, sugar, and egg mixture. Add milk.
Step 6
Mix until well blended.
Step 7
Pour berry mixture into 1 1/2 quart baking dish and pour dough mixture on top.
Step 8
Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
Serve with icecream.
