  • 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 well beaten egg
  • 8-inch unbaked pie shell

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400º
Combine brown sugar, evaporated milk and flour in sauce pan. Cook over low heat, stirring until dissolved. Remove from heat; slowly add beaten egg, stirring constantly. Pour into 8-inch unbaked pie shell.
Bake in hot oven (400 degrees F) for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 300 degrees F. and continue baking for 30 minutes, or until filling thickens. Enjoy
