Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 cans (15-16oz) pinto beans, drained
- 1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup mild chunky salsa
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 Tbsp ground cumin
- 1 cup shredded Monteray-Jack cheddar cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Step 2
Cook beef in skillet over medium heat until brown; drain.
Step 3
Mix beef, beans, tomato sauce, salsa, chili powder, and cumind. Pour into ungreased 2 qt. casserole.
Step 4
Cover and bake for 40-45 minutes, stirring once or twice until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake uncovered about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Step 5
Serve with warm cornbread.
