Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 4 cups + 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon rice wine
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 jalapenos peppers, cut in half lengthwise then cute into about 3 pieces
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Mix chicken and ¼ cup cornstarch well. Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Heat 4 cups vegetable oil and fry chicken until it is crispy. Add jalapenos for 10 seconds then remove chicken and jalapenos from oil. Keep wok hot.
Step 3
Add 2 teaspoons vegetable oil into wok. Add chopped garlic, rice wine, soy sauce and chicken. Stir-fry well.
Step 4
Add sugar and continue stirring for two minutes.
Step 5
Remove from heat and serve.
