Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs flank, round, skirt, hanger, or flat iron steak
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp minced ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 3/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 3 medium green onions, chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Cut the steak into 2 inch wide strips with the grain, then cut across the grain into 1/8 inch thick slices. Coat pieces in corn starch.
Step 2
Add remainder of ingredients to slow cooker and stir well to combine.Place coated steak into the cooker and cook on high 2-3 hours or low 4-5 hours. Serve over rice or noodles.
Step 3
To freeze place in a Ziploc bag or a freezer container.
