- 2 Cups white sugar
- 1/3 Cup water
- 1/3 Cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 Tsp.salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 Cup chopped pecans or nuts of your choice

Preparation
Step 1
Combine sugar, corn syrup, water and salt in glass casserole dish. Cover with saran wrap and microwave on high for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Remove and take off saran wrap. Stir well and return to microwave uncovered. Microwave an additional4- 5 minutes until it reaches hard ball stage.(When a little is dropped in cold water).
Step 3
Remove and cool about 4 minutes.
Step 4
Beat egg whites until stiff with mixer.
Step 5
Pour sugar mixture over egg whites while mixer is running beating constantly until mixture starts to gloss and holds together. About 5 minutes.
Step 6
Stir in vanilla and nuts
Step 7
Drop by teaspoonful on wax paper and let cool.
Careful when removing hot mixture from microwave. It will burn you.
