Grilled Sweet Coffee Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of this morning’s left over strong brewed coffee (cold)
  • 1/2 cup molasses OR ¼ cup corn syrup and ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 4 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme or 1 ½ tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4- 6 bone-in pork chops

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together coffee, molasses, vinegar, mustard, garlic, salt, ginger, thyme, and pepper in a bowl then transfer to a zip lock back

Step 2

Add pork chop to marinade in bag, refrigerate for 3-24 hours.

Step 3

Preheat the grill, add pork chops to hot grill cook about 3-5 minutes per side. Be careful not to overcook – a tender pork chop is a happy pork chop!
