  • 1 Cup butter
  • 3 eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 Teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 Teaspoons baking powder
  • 5 Cups flour

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar, add the eggs, vanilla and salt. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredents, reserving 1 Cup flour mixture. Alternate the flour mixture and milk. Mix the reserved cup of flour with spoon. Flour pan. Roll mixture to 1/4 to 1/2" thickness. Dough should not stick on rolling pin. If the dough sticks, add a little more flour. Cut out. Bake at 350 degree, 10 minutes. Do not let the cookies brown.
