Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breast, pounded to 1/2 inch
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • seasoned Italian bread crumbs
  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • 1 jar (16 oz.) spaghetti sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Whisk together egg and milk. Dip chicken breasts in milk and egg mixture, then into bread crumbs. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Brown the chicken on both sides until golden--3 to 4 minutes on each side. Set the chicken in a baking dish.

Step 2

Put two slices of mozzarella cheese on each chicken breast. Pour spaghetti sauce over the chicken. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and more mozzarella, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until bubbly.
